My Hero was created out of a need for people to build community connections and match with the right support worker to create reliable support foundations. We've had participants from all walks of life in the Fraser Coast and Brisbane regions, transform their quality of life with our supports and services.

My Hero's purpose is to provide a person-centered and strength based approach to our support and services. Our aim is to bring out the best in you and support you, so you can succeed on your own and in your own way!

As we continue to evolve and grow as an organisation in response to individual needs and contemporary thinking about disability, mental health and wellbeing, our mission and core values have remained constant and have been the fundamental driver of our work.

My Hero’s motto is ‘Respect, Empowerment and Accountability’.

This encapsulates how we strive to live out our values in our everyday interactions. Our services are based on person-centered principles, appreciative inquiry methodology, community engagement and human rights.
